A lot of you who have been following my blog know that I moved back to Belize very recently and was moving in with my boyfriend here (also from the states). We met a few years ago here in Belize at Scotty’s Bar & Grill. He had come to Portland to confess his undying love for me (after our last breakup) and that he wanted to build a life with me, etc. etc, etc. So he put on quite a show and I decided to move back to Belize with him. Well, I will make a very long story short and say that his love died. Quickly. In a manner that would amuse my worst enemy he severed our relationship after only a few months of telling me he wanted to be with me forever. So now I continue to lick my wounds and my emotions are more up and down than a pogo-stick. I am going back to Portland in one week (this all happened about three weeks ago). My plans for belizedragonfly.com are going to be the same as when I went back to Portland last time – to keep it going and get as much content for you as possible.
So lately it’s been busy around here! I have some catching up to do telling you about the many boating adventures I’ve had lately (one involving a head-on boat collision – don’t worry everyone was fine). Also I am having a new experience to write about in Belize, renting in town for a month. I am currently staying at Hotel Maya and have a lot to report about that experience as well.
